The MeetMAT from Outer Space - MeetMAT 2

My entry for Meet Mat 2 contest by Allegorithmic.
I was inspired by the Lovecraft's story "the colour from outer space", so first of all I wanted to create a texture of a strange alien fluid that cover and pours out from an ancient idol. It was fun using both scattering and displacement, to sculpting the meet mat. In the end, differently from my normal workflow, I try to make more details by hand using the brushes from Photoshop..
