I made this project taking inspiration from Japanese vegetation. I wanted to explore the worflow of creating foliage from scartch.
I started by sculpting the leaves in ZBrush and texturing the different atlases in Substance 3D Painter. Substance 3D Designer was used for the bark textures.
The structures of the trees are made in Speetree while the low vegetation is made both in Maya and SpeedTree.
All the asset are optimised for game ready.
