Albedo - Magnum Opus

The Albedo, or leucosis, the second step of purification of the inform matter created from the Nigredo, according to the alchemical motto "solve et coagula".

It's symbolizes by the swan, the spring, the moon, the female, and the metal silver.

After inner death, the individual arrives at the phase of rebirth and resurrection, opening up to the wonder of the world.

Discovering dormant things in the self, which rises towards higher worlds rich in love, compassion and empathy. The individual comes into contact with the animus (the male part) and the anima (the female part).

Magnum Opus is a conceptual personal project where I want to rapresent the different phases of the creation of the philosoper's stone, with the influence of Jung, with a strong influence of Giger and Beksinski, two artist that influenced me a lot.
